How long does it take?
All vehicles are delivered within 24h after collection depending on distance and request of the client. Should a delay occur during the trip the client will be notified immediately by the driver to prevent any disappointments. Delays can occur during trips due to bad weather or road closures caused by an accident on our dangerous and busy roads.
Can I load luggage in the vehicle?
This is a service that we offer at no extra cost and especially useful with the Student and Holiday vehicles. Students have boxes of texts books and small pieces of furniture that they send with their vehicles and our holiday clients can pack light for the flight and send all the heavy and bigger goods with their vehicle. T's & C's do apply with this service as our drivers need to be comfortable during the trip.
License & Registration
Kuhn Ferriers can do License and Registration on behalf of the dealership when vehicles have to be delivered in a different province. We fit the number plates have the vehicle cleaned and prepped as if the client was collecting the vehicle on your showroom floor
Yes we collect and deliver door to door.
Kuhn Ferriers are one of the few transport companies that offer proper door to door collection and deliveries for the clients convenience.
No depot drop offs or collections as with carrier companies.
Will my vehicle be insured?
Kuhn Ferriers insures all vehicles to the value of R400 000 while in our possession from the time of collection until the key is handed over at the delivery point. THIS SERVICE IS ONLY FOR OUR CAR DEALER AND VEHICLE RENTAL CLIENTS AND INCLUDED IN THE QUOTED PRICE.
Police Clearance & Vehicle Exporting
Kuhn Ferriers have years of experience in this field as we take vehicles to Namibia on a weekly basis. This service consists of taking the vehicle for police clearance. Handling all the necessary paperwork at the borders post to insure that the vehicle can be imported in another country. Please note that we only handle the paperwork at the border if Kuhn Ferriers does the transport.
